Can't beat a suuuuper thin bar pie. Or the 'thinny thin', as they call it at Cafe Crevier. I ordered a pie takeout, and my big learning was that a takeout thin crust pie just isn't the same. Ooey, gooey and hot out of the oven would've been best. The cheese got hard super fast because of how thin the pie was (like legit, it's a cracker). It was still really good though, and I love how the tomato sauce was super sweet. Basically, I can tell this is going to be an amazing pie if I eat in person and I'm excited to go back and do just that. The cesar salad was very lackluster with wilted lettuce and low quality sprinkle cheese. Def would not order again, and I'd try a different app with my pizza like burrata or calamari. I'll be back soon - excited to try more.
It took every bone in my body not to hit up The Pasta Shop but I just had to try the pizza at Cafe Crevier and it did not disappoint and lived up to the hype. Slightly charred cheese only crust, delectable sauce and the most perfect under crust.
This was a place where I tried a dish served at a party. I was able to have a tray of the chicken piccata. The pieces of chicken were cut up nicely and were pounded out very thin. It was some of the most tender chicken I had in a long time. There was a ton of flavor besides that. The floured chicken had a great balance of all what a chicken piccata entails. I really enjoyed that there was plenty of capers pieces incorporated. Will I go back? I did not attend but would definitely head there.
Our first visit after many recommendations and the pizza was amazingly delicious. We met Nick the owner who actually sat with us and proudly spoke of his restaurants. Although the ambiance was casual it was a classy place. We told Nick the pie we ordered (Sweet Cups of Spice) was exceptional and service by his hostesses and waiter, Jose, 5 stars . We will be returning for a future visit'
8.8 conversion score Ordered on the slice app where initially had 20-30 minute timeframe and after ordering said 50...showed up in 30 and it was ready anyway which was great because I had plans but should keep that in mind if you're in a rush. It was Sunday afternoon and it looked busy. Very excited to try this place after you know who's review. The thinny thing pie did not disappoint, but it did have some burnt ends and one slice had it awkwardly stray onto the rest of the pizza. It's honestly in the same class as the best of the best in New Jersey and worth a drive, especially if you're in the area. Will be back
We were running a little late and called to let the business know. The woman who answered was extremely pleasant and gave us a good parking tip - park in the Valley Natl Bank across the street (but only after bank hours) upon first glance at the menu, there is a good diversity of choices for people who don't even like pizza. My wife ordered the rice balls, which were a little too cheesy for me. I had the chicken parm entree. The meal was good. The chicken was well cooked and was a little thinner than I expected. The pasta complemented the dish well. As for the thinny pizza, it will web the appetite for any thin pizza afficiando. I didn't care too much for the cheese but the sauce was very good. When I compare this place with Star Tavern, the pizza was similar - not as greasy but also not as tasty, however the wait staff is much more accommodating. We will definitely come again!
I can't say I don't miss Mara's :( but I will absolutely be back to Cafe Crevier! What I liked: spacious interior with such cute decorations (albeit a little random; not quite sure what the theme is here, the lighting is nautical but there are lots of fake plants/flowers); fast and really friendly service (seems like this is a family-owned and run place); pricing is comparable to most other places nowadays, nothing insane; the free table bread was REALLY good, good flavor, warm, and crispy; the pizza was exactly the kind of thickness I like in a thin crust pizza (not paper thin, has a little thickness to it) and the slices had integrity/could stand on their own, but the crust was not cracker-y (not a fan of cracker crust, personally) -- big win there; lastly, I loved that the onion topping for the pizza was CARAMELIZED onion! Hardly see that anywhere. Although, it's worth noting that the menu didn't specify that, so if you're not a fan, don't get the onion. What I didn't like: this is really the only reason for the -1 star -- the pizza sauce just lacked flavor. Either that, or there just wasn't enough on there (or a combination of the two). My husband got a plain Thinny Thin and agreed something with the sauce was missing. Will still be back to try other items, or maybe give the pizza another try!
